The free tools on Motifuse are general-purpose by design. When your work needs the same kind of tool but with your pricing logic, your data formats, or your report layout, Motifuse builds it as a private tool: scoped in writing, quoted before work starts, and delivered in an ad-free workspace for the people you choose.
Pricing, quoting, commissions, payroll adjustments, engineering formulas — any calculation that follows your rules instead of generic ones.
Converters & data cleanup
Tools that reshape your CSV, JSON, or spreadsheet exports into exactly the format the next system needs, every time.
Document & report generators
Quotations, invoices, statements, certificates, and recurring reports generated from a form or a data file, in your layout.
Internal workflows
Small multi-step tools that replace an error-prone spreadsheet ritual: enter data, validate it, calculate, review, export.
If your idea doesn't fit these boxes, describe it anyway — the request form is the right place to find out whether it's a good fit.

How a project runs
1
Describe the tool
Use the request form. Plain language, example inputs, and expected outputs are enough — no specification document needed.
2
Manual review
Every request is read by a person. If something is unclear, you get questions by email, not a quote based on guesswork.
3
Written scope & quote
You receive exactly what will be built, the one-time development fee, and any optional hosting plan — before any commitment.
4
Build & review
You try a working version and request adjustments before delivery is considered done.
5
Private delivery
Your tool goes live in your hosted, ad-free workspace on motifuse.com — your team signs in with email. Support continues under a maintenance plan.
Fully hosted, zero setup
No domain. No server. No IT project.
Many teams want the tool, not the infrastructure around it. That's the default delivery model: your tool is hosted on motifuse.com inside a private workspace that Motifuse operates for you. There is nothing to buy, install, configure, or keep patched on your side.
Your team opens the workspace address in any modern browser — desktop or phone.
Sign-in is tied to the email addresses you approve; nobody else can reach your workspace.
Every tool you commission appears in one dashboard, ad-free.
Hosting, updates, and access changes are handled under your maintenance plan.
Prefer your own domain or infrastructure instead? Mention it in the request and the project is scoped that way.

How pricing works
A one-time development fee, quoted per project after the requirements review — complexity, integrations, exports, storage, and design all affect it.
An optional monthly or annual plan for private hosting, maintenance, updates, team access, and support.
No payment is requested before you approve the written scope and price.
What we don't take on
To keep projects safe and deliverable, Motifuse declines work that involves:
Highly regulated domains (for example medical devices, trading systems, or legal-compliance guarantees).
Unnecessarily sensitive personal data — health records, identity documents, or financial credentials.
Anything deceptive, unsafe, or unlawful.
Common questions
Do I need my own domain, server, or software?
No. By default your tool is delivered fully hosted on motifuse.com in a private workspace — there is nothing to buy, install, configure, or maintain on your side. Your team opens the workspace address in a normal browser and signs in with their email addresses. If you would rather run the tool on your own domain or infrastructure, mention it in the request and it can be scoped that way instead.
How does my team sign in?
Access is tied to the email addresses you approve. Only people you have named can sign in to your workspace, and access can be added or removed as your team changes (managed under your maintenance plan, or by request).
How much does a private tool cost?
Every project is quoted individually because scope varies a lot: a single-page calculator with your pricing rules is far simpler than a multi-step workflow with exports and team access. You always receive a written scope and a one-time development fee before anything starts, and you only proceed if you approve it.
What is the ongoing fee for?
The optional monthly or annual plan covers private hosting, maintenance, security updates, small adjustments, team access, and support. If you prefer a one-off build with no ongoing plan, say so in your request and we will scope it that way where practical.
Is submitting a request a commitment?
No. Requests are free, reviewed manually, and nothing is billed at any point before you approve a written scope and price.
Who owns the tool?
The arrangement is agreed per project in the written scope — including access, hosting, and what happens if you stop the maintenance plan. Ask for the terms that matter to you in the request form.
How is my data handled?
Where practical, private tools are built local-first, so calculations happen in the browser and your data stays on your devices. When a project genuinely needs storage or server processing, that is stated in the scope. Motifuse avoids projects involving highly regulated or unnecessarily sensitive data.
Do the free public tools change?
No. The public collection stays free, and this service is entirely separate from it.
Describe the tool. We'll take it from there.
A few sentences, example inputs, and the output you expect are enough for a first review. Requests are free, and you decide after seeing the scope and price.
