Plain English

The short version

The four things most people are actually checking. The numbered clauses below are the agreement; this is a map to them.

  • Free tools need no agreement to use

Most of the directory works without an account. These Terms still apply to your use of the site, but nothing here asks you to sign up for anything.

    Acceptance
  • Five other documents form part of this one

Acceptable Use, Content Policy, Copyright, Privacy and the Disclaimer. Where they conflict, the order of precedence below decides.

    Order of precedence
  • Your content stays yours

Motifuse claims no ownership of what you upload or what a tool generates from it, and takes only the permission needed to run the feature.

    Your content
  • No uptime guarantee on self-service plans

The service is provided as-available. Features may change or be withdrawn, and no self-service plan carries a service-level commitment.

    Availability

This summary is not the agreement. Where the summary and the numbered clauses differ, the clauses are what applies. They are below, and each one has its own link.

What you are agreeing about

What Motifuse provides

3 things, and they carry different obligations. Most visitors only ever use the first — which needs no account, no card and no agreement beyond ordinary use of a website.

  • Free public tools

Calculators, converters, formatters, and text, image, PDF, developer and career utilities. No account, no trial and no card.

  • Customer workspaces

A signed-in space that saves your work, applies your plan's entitlements and keeps your projects separate from anyone else's.

  • Private tool projects

A custom utility built for one organisation's workflow, scoped and quoted in writing before any work starts.

1.Acceptance and eligibility

Using the site accepts these Terms. Holding an account has an age condition.

By using motifuse.com you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Most of the tool directory works without an account, and nothing here asks you to create one.

Motifuse is operated by Rakesh P R, sole proprietor trading as Motifuse Solutions, from Ottappalam, Palakkad District, Kerala 679302, India.

  • You must be at least 13 to hold an account.
  • Paid plans and commissioned projects require the legal capacity to enter a contract — 18 in India — so an account holder between 13 and 18 can use the free tools but subscribes only through a parent or guardian.
  • Where local law sets a higher age for consenting to data processing than 13, that higher age applies to you and a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf.

2.What Motifuse provides

Set out above. Different parts carry different obligations.

The free tools need no account. Workspaces and premium products do. Private tool projects are a separate commercial arrangement governed first by their own quotation.

3.Order of precedence

The ranked list above decides which document governs a direct conflict.

Where two of these say different things about the same subject, the one higher in this list applies. That ordering exists so a conflict has an answer rather than an argument.

An accepted quotation sits above these Terms because it is a negotiated agreement about one specific piece of work; it displaces the general position only for that project, and only where it says something different.

4.Accounts

One person per account, and you are responsible for what happens under yours.

  • One person per account. Workspaces are single-user; there are no seats, teams or organisation accounts.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in method to yourself.
  • A sign-in link works for anyone holding it while it is valid, so treat one like a password rather than like a notification.
  • Sessions expire, and signing out ends one immediately.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

5.Subscriptions

Billed in advance, renewing automatically, cancellable at any time.

  • Paid plans are individual subscriptions billed in advance for the period you chose.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it first.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Plan entitlements — limits, features and quotas — are those published for that plan at the time you subscribe.

6.Payments and refunds

No refunds for periods already started. Cancel any time; access runs to the end of the paid period.

  • Payment is taken by our payment provider. Card and bank details go to them directly and never reach Motifuse.
  • Displayed prices are inclusive of applicable tax. Where a tax invoice is issued, the taxable value and tax component are calculated back out of that inclusive figure, and the invoice number and series are generated by us rather than supplied by you.
  • Your billing profile — name, address and any tax identifier — is used as you entered it, so an invoice is only as correct as that profile.

The position

There are no refunds for subscription periods already started. You can cancel at any time, and access continues to the end of the period you paid for.

  • Where a refund is made as an exception, it is issued by hand through the payment provider rather than by an automated route, so it takes as long as the provider takes.
  • Motifuse reserves the right to suspend related access while a payment dispute or chargeback is resolved. This is a reserved right rather than an automated process — no dispute handler runs on its own.
  • Where you were charged for something you did not receive because of a fault on our side, say so and it will be dealt with rather than argued about.

7.Private Tool Service Terms (version PTS-2026-07)

Additional terms for paid custom work, applying above the general terms for those projects.

These additional terms apply to paid custom services — private tools, workflows and related builds delivered to order. Where they conflict with the general terms above, these apply to those projects. The version identifier is recorded with every quotation acceptance.

  • Submitting a request is free and creates no obligation on either side. Every request is reviewed manually, and Motifuse may decline a project at its discretion — including projects involving unsafe, unlawful, highly regulated, or unnecessarily sensitive data.
  • Each project is governed by a written quotation defining scope, deliverables, exclusions, pricing, payment schedule, included revision rounds, and project-specific terms. The quotation version you accept is the operative description of the work.
  • Work begins only after you accept the quotation and the required deposit or setup payment is verified. Estimated durations are good-faith estimates, not guaranteed dates.
  • Work outside the accepted scope is handled as a separate change request with its own estimate. Revision rounds beyond those included may be chargeable.
  • Unless a separate source-code transfer is purchased and recorded in the quotation, Motifuse retains ownership of reusable frameworks, generic components, and development tooling. You retain ownership of your data and the customer-specific content you provide, and receive the delivered tool for your use as described in the quotation.
  • Optional hosting and maintenance plans cover the services described in the quotation while the plan is active. Renewal reminders are sent before expiry; after a grace period an unpaid plan lapses. Maintenance autopay, where authorised, renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Delivered tools are provided in your private, ad-free workspace. Access can be revoked for non-payment, abuse, or termination, subject to the accepted quotation.
  • Cancellation and refund handling follows the accepted quotation. Amounts already paid for work already performed are generally not refundable unless the quotation says otherwise.
  • Project records, quotations, and acceptance records are retained as business records. Confidential information you share for a project is used only to deliver it.

Nothing in this service guarantees project acceptance, business outcomes, regulatory compliance, search-engine or advertising approval, or absolute security. Specific commitments exist only where the accepted quotation states them.

7A.One-time digital products

Store products are licensed downloads, not SaaS subscriptions, services, or promises of external outcomes.

A Store purchase grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence under the product variant and Store license policy in force at checkout. It does not transfer copyright, permit unauthorized redistribution or resale, or create a marketplace, team licence, consulting engagement, recruitment service, or subscription.

Access is granted only after the payment provider confirms completion. A success page, receipt, client-side callback, or manually edited request cannot create an entitlement. Full refunds and chargebacks may revoke related downloads and premium Resume Studio features. The separate Digital Product Refund Policy governs refund requests for these files and sits alongside, rather than replacing, statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Paid Store checkout is available only when an approved payment provider is enabled. If Paddle approves Motifuse and a Paddle checkout is offered, Paddle is the reseller and Merchant of Record for that order and handles payment support and financial returns. Motifuse licenses and fulfils the purchased files and supports delivery or reproducible product defects. Custom services and quotations are not sold through Store checkout.

Store resources provide structure and reusable systems. They do not guarantee hiring, ATS parsing, search ranking, revenue, compliance, or any other external outcome. Career examples are fictional prompts and must be replaced with accurate information you can support.

8.Your content and outputs

Yours, and Motifuse takes only the permission needed to run the feature.

  • You keep every right you already held in what you upload, paste or generate. Motifuse claims no ownership of any of it.
  • You grant only the limited permission needed to run the feature you asked for, and that permission ends when the content is deleted or its retention period lapses.
  • You confirm you have the right to submit what you submit, and that doing so breaches neither the law nor anyone else's rights.
  • Outputs are yours, subject to the rights in the material you supplied. Generating something creates no right you did not already have.

9.Your responsibilities

Set out in full in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

You agree to use Motifuse lawfully, not to interfere with the service or with other people’s use of it, and not to submit material you have no right to submit. The complete conduct rules — and the enforcement ladder that follows a breach — are in the Acceptable Use Policy, and what may be submitted or generated is in the Content Policy.

10.Accuracy and no professional advice

Tool outputs are inputs to a decision, never the decision.

Nothing on Motifuse is professional advice, and using a tool creates no professional relationship. Outputs are estimates, drafts and findings; what each kind can and cannot be relied on for is set out family by family in the Disclaimer, which forms part of this agreement.

11.Availability and changes

As-available. No uptime commitment on any self-service plan.

  • The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, move or be withdrawn.
  • Maintenance, provider incidents and third-party failures may interrupt access without notice.
  • No self-service plan carries an uptime or service-level commitment, and none is implied by a plan being paid.
  • Where a product or feature is retired, reasonable notice will be given to anyone holding a paid subscription that depends on it.

12.Suspension and termination

Proportionate, as set out in the enforcement ladder. Closing an account is not a deletion event.

  • You can stop using the service at any time, and can ask for your account to be closed.
  • Motifuse may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy, proportionately and as set out in the enforcement ladder.
  • Closing an account blocks access. What happens to stored data afterwards is governed by the retention periods in the Privacy Policy — termination is not itself a deletion event.
  • Obligations that by their nature survive termination — payment for a period already used, liability limits, ownership positions — continue to apply.

13.Limitation of liability

Bounded, with the things that cannot lawfully be excluded left untouched.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
  • Subject to that, Motifuse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on a tool output.
  • Where liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or to a nominal amount where you paid nothing.
  • The Disclaimer sets out what each kind of output can and cannot be relied on for, and forms part of this agreement.

14.Governing law

India, with disputes heard in Kerala, India.

These Terms are governed by the law of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Kerala, India. Nothing here removes a mandatory protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

15.Changes and contact

Revised in place, with the date moving only when the substance does.

  • These Terms are updated when the service, the law or our practices change, and the date at the top shows the current version.
  • Continuing to use the service after a change means the updated Terms apply to you.
  • There is no automated change-notification mechanism. Changes are made by revising this page.

Questions about this document

If a clause here decides whether you can use Motifuse for something, ask rather than guess. A question answered in advance costs nothing.
